Why 'easy in, easy out' beats horsepower

Engine specs get all the marketing attention, but they have nothing to do with how a vehicle feels on the two things you do every single trip: getting in and getting out. That's a function of seat height relative to the door opening, not engine size.

Many compact and midsize crossovers are built with a seat height close to standing hip level, so it's closer to sitting on a stool than climbing or dropping into a chair. That's the detail worth prioritizing over trim level or paint color.
