Cargo space for canes, walkers, and everyday hauling

A folding walker, wheelchair, or rollator needs a cargo area that's wide and not too high off the ground, plus a liftgate that's easy to operate. Power liftgates that open with a button or a foot-swipe motion remove the need to lift and hold a heavy door.

Also check the cargo floor height itself — some SUVs have a rear floor low enough to slide items in without bending far, while others sit noticeably higher. If mobility equipment is a regular part of the routine, bring it along and load it during the test drive.
